Lewis, Alves, Lange, Wiley Put on Thrilling Performance over 4th of July Weekend

While there were plenty of fireworks in the sky over the Fourth of July weekend, Santa Maria Speedway hosted some of the West's best drivers that delivered captivating action on track. USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, California Regional Sprints, California Lightning Sprints and Dwarf Cars all put on a fantastic night of racing in front of a near full capacity crowd.

USAC/CRA visited earlier this season. On the second trip of their 2025 campaign, Ricky Lewis went from a red eye flight after standing on the USAC National Podium in Indiana on Friday night to Victory Lane at Santa Maria Speedway on Saturday night. It was his seventh feature event victory of the USAC/CRA season and he currently sits atop the series' points standings. For a full night of USAC/CRA results and recap visit www.USACNation.com

California Regional Sprints came back for their second weekend in a row. Hanford's Jeremy Alves set a blistering pace in the twenty five lap feature event and held off current series' points leader Davey Pombo. It was Alves first career series victory.

California Lightning Sprint feature event action was off to a start with young Drake Cardey taking the early lead and setting the pace. An expired engine handed the lead to Aiden Lange who held on for the win over Eric Greco and Zate Legend.

Dwarf Cars had an exciting side-by-side feature event with Jason Horton taking the early race lead. Local points' leader Brandon Wiley started tail of the field and found himself in a side-by-side battle with Horton in the second half of the feature. The duo traded position a handful of times before Wiley secured the lead and went on to score his second local racing sweep of the season.
