What a night of racing we had on July 11th. The Tri-State Sprints made their 1st appearance of the 2025 season, and also it was their FIRST RACE of the season. Special thanks to our marketing partner and LONG time supporter Shaheen Chevrolet Cadillac for their continued support of local short track racing, and also for the trophies.

Durotech Automotive Mini Wedge Recap:

The future of our sport, the Durotech Mini Wedges kicked off our Friday night race program. Ace Hart (45) won the heat race for the Senior Division (10-14 years of age), and Kate Maurer was victorious winning the heat for the Junior Division (5-9 years of age). After the autograph session, it was feature time for the future stars. Ace Hart (45) won the feature for the Senior Division making it a clean sweep for him. For the Junior Division, we saw Carson Vainner (07) win the Junior Division Feature. The Durotech Automotive Mini Wedges will be back in action on Friday July 18th.

Tri-State Sprints Recap:

The Tri-State Sprints under the Direction of Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame Inductee John Boy Hotchkiss, took to the track for their season opener. Here is the results of the heats and features from July 11th. NOTE: whole field heat races for Tri-State Sprints then for heat 2 field is inverted.

The Premier Carpentry & Painting FWDs put on a great show! With other tracks closing due to weather we had an EXCELLENT CAR COUNT! Thank you drivers for coming out to support us! We had to run a C Feature for the FIRST TIME EVER! Speaking of FIRST TIME EVER Bentley Foote won his FIRST EVER FEATURE for the C Class at 11 YEARS OLD! Congratulations Bentley from all of us at COS!
