Bryan Hulbert - WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (July 16, 2025) Back into the state of Arkansas this weekend, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints will set sights on Crowley's Ridge Raceway on Friday, July 18, and Riverside International Speedway on Saturday, July 19.
The annual No Fender Friday at the Paragould, Ark. oval, last year's event went the way of Derek Hagar, with Howard Moore and Ayden Gatewood in tow. The season's only trip to Crowley's Ridge on Friday includes MSCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Street Stocks, and Mini-Sprints.
Crowley's Ridge opens at 5:00 p.m., with racing set to go green at 7:30 p.m. (CDT). Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for youth (6-13), and kids five and under are free. Added to the lineup after the original date for the Greg Hodnett Memorial was claimed by rain, the seventh edition will pay $2,700 to win, plus bonuses. Other classes on the card include RaceSaver Winged Sprints, G&S Modifieds, Late Models, and Stock Cars.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $5 for youth (6-11), and free for kids five and under. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. Riverside International Speedway is located at 151 Legion Road in West Memphis, Ark.
Rounds nine and ten on the season, multi-time winners so far include Howard Moore, Christopher Townsend, and Lane Wittington, with two each. Dale Howard and Cody Gardner have each picked up a single victory so far in 2025.
The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
