Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 21, 2025) – Kaleb Johnson produced a pair of top-10 results last Saturday at Knoxville Raceway, where the Team DGRD driver did double duty by racing in two divisions.

Johnson’s best result came in the 410ci winged sprint car division. He was third quickest in his qualifying group before advancing from sixth to third place in a heat race. A seventh-place outing in the main event wrapped up the action.

“We qualified well and went forward in the heat race,” he said. “We just missed it a little in the feature. I was really good on entry, but once I hit the center I’d lose the right rear and spin the tires from the center of the corner down the straightaways.”

Johnson earned the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars during the 360ci winged sprint car division main event. He was seventh quickest in his group’s qualifying session and he placed fifth in a heat race. A runner-up result in a B Main advanced Johnson to the rear of the field for the A Main.

“We qualified decent, especially for how late we went out,” he said. “I didn’t get a good start and my wing pulled back until two or three laps to go in the heat race. We were able to transfer through the B Main. I knew starting in the back of the feature would be tough. Once you get spaced out it’s tough to get moving and passing cars. We lucked out with some cautions at the end and I was able to make the most of it to get a top 10.”

Johnson hustled from 24th to a ninth-place result.

This week showcases five nights of competition with Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Car Series 410 Sprint Cars races on Tuesday at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, and Thursday and Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn. Saturday features a return to Knoxville Raceway before the weekend wraps up on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., where Johnson leads the championship standings by 28 points.

“I’m excited to get out and race as much as we can,” he said. “I’m excited and confident and hoping for a smooth week.”
