Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (July 21, 2025) – Championships are up for grabs with only a handful of races remaining at Huset’s Speedway this season.
The next opportunity to compete is this Sunday for Nordstrom’s Automotive Night featuring the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks. An additional $1,000 is being added to purse for the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.
It marks the final race of the month at the track, which will then take the first half of August off out of respect for other marquee events in the region.
Sunday’s show is also the final night of the Border Battle No. 2 for the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars with additional nights during the special weekend on Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., and Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.
Kaleb Johnson holds a 28-point lead over Ryan Timms in the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars championship standings. Jack Dover is 59 points behind Johnson with Mark Dobmeier 68 points back and Christopher Thram 72 points out of the top spot.
Johnson and Timms are tied for not only the division lead, but also atop the track’s season victories this year with three wins each. The only other weekly competitor with multiple triumphs this season is Mike Chaney with a pair of Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks wins.
Dylan Waxdahl is nine points ahead of Brady Donnohue in the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series championship standings. Tye Wilke is 25 points back with Andrew Sullivan and Brandon Halverson tied for fourth – 30 points behind Waxdahl.
The top five in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks championship standings are separated by only 10 points. Chris Ellingson has a three-point advantage over Matt Steuerwald with J.J. Zebell (six points back), Cory Yeigh (eight points back) and Aaron Foote (10 points back) rounding out the top five.
The main gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.
Adult tickets are $20 at the gate or $17 if purchased in advance. Tickets for students 13-years-old to 18-years-old are $10 at the gate or $8 in advance. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.
