Mathieson wins big on Hall of Fame night

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Motor Speedway inducted two more racers into the Hall of Fame here Saturday. Earl Iverson and Jake Valiquette were the two drivers to receive the honor.

In the exhibition vintage class, Ron Anderson picked up the heat and feature sweep. Derek LeBresh came in second and won the other heat race. Sam Slaga came in third and Dave Broeders and Terry Royer rounded out the top ten.

In the youth micro sprints, Tanner Rae came away with his fourth feature win of the season as well as a win in heat race action. Amelia Harf came in second and Colton Yelle put together his best race of the season coming home third. Wyatt Ammel and Abbie Lantagne rounded out the top five.

In the sportsman micro sprints class Dalton Gustavson came away with the feature win. Braxton Lundquist came in second and Nathan Viau finished third. Chase Richer and Macy Degnan roun
