We are still on for racing Saturday! The forecast has improved quite a bit and while it looks like we may have a passing shower or two we are confident that we can get this weekend's races in! Both Cottage Grove Speedway and Western Sprint Tour are allowing HTW's and RD20's for the remainder of the season. Due to the number of rainouts as well as the continued tire shortage we felt this was the best option. Thank you all for your patience and understanding, we will continue to do all we can to keep you all racing all season! The sun is shining and we are hopeful it sticks around all the way through the weekend because we have a BIG one planned!! It all gets started with the stars of tomorrow hitting the little track in the infield for some Friday Night Lights and the best go-kart action you've seen from drivers as young as 5 years old! We are incredibly sad and disappointed but unfortunately at this time we really don't have a choice but to postpone the running of the Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic. There isn't much hope with 100% chance of rain and forecasts calling for nearly 2 inches over the next few days so we are hoping that this early call will save teams and fans money in travel expenses and give everyone time to make alternate plans.
