The Barr Motorsports team is ready to roll for round 2 of the Sprint Series of Texas race season in Abilene Texas. The team will roll out Saturday morning and head to the ¼ mile dirt oval. This will be the first visit to the track for Adam and the team. It’s been somewhat of a busy month at the Barr Motorsports shop after a month long layoff since the last race at Boyd Raceway. Wow what a night. I started 5th in my heat and finished 4th to transfer to the A main. Drew Wright put up a hell of a fight and I just couldn't get around him. Started 6th in the main and jumped to 2nd a lap in. Kenny Venable had a great line going and i couldn't get around him. With 5 laps to go the brakes went out completely. Good Friday was Good for Barr Motorsports On Friday April 3rd the Barr Motorsports team took The Dent Repair Shop, Capital V Connection Triple X Sprint Car to Boyd Raceway in Boyd, Texas to start the 2015 Season. Although the temperatures were down, Boyd Raceway's fans were up for some action on a pleasant Good Friday. Mike Herring led the team with a 8th place finish in the A-Main feature with rookie Josh Hanna coming in 16th. The night started with a surprise. On a beautiful afternoon at Kennedale Speedway Park, the SCP Polymers/Old Air Products racing team geared up for the 2015 season when the crew successfully tested the cars of #80 Bud Hanna, #82 Josh Hanna, and #99 Mike Herring. Jason Howell is currently working with Dustin Woods and the SWAT Firearms team to get prepared for the 2015 season opener at Heart O' Texas Speedway on March 20th. Jason and Dustin are putting the final touches on the cars and are ready to go practice in the next weeks to tune the cars in.

By Don Cook Fort Worth Star-Telegram Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale) July 30 (Saturday) Ryan Beechler, #6, was the Sprint Series of Texas feature winner at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. This was the second KSP appearance of the season for the SST series. Thirty-one SST Sprints competed at the 1/4 mile, semi-banked, clay track.
