Bryant Dawson and Jarid Blondel continue to lead USAC HPD Western Ignite Midget standings after last weekend’s Friday and Saturday night races at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring. The 2013 USAC Western Ignite Midget Series debuts this Saturday night at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu, Ariz. It’s the first of 11 races scheduled for the pavement portion of the 2013 calendar. Saturday’s race is the first for USAC’s Ignite Midgets at Lake Havasu in two years. Ross Rankine, USAC’s 2012 Midwest Ignite Champion, was the 2011 winner.
