The 50th Golden Jubilee season was celebrated this past Saturday night at the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel in Clayton New York with a full house of drivers, crew members and race fans. The top drivers were honored for their accomplishments in all five divisions. Following the awards ceremony everyone was treated to live entertainment from Josh Cox and the Rattklesnakes, providing a fun evening for all involved. The 2024 Golden Jubilee season at the Can Am Speedway has been a memorable one with plenty of exciting action and emotional moments during the year. Last week the regular season wrapped up with track champions crowned in all divisions. Tim Fuller took his 4th straight Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTCar 358 Modified championship. The stands were filled with plenty of fans during Encompass Recreation and Channel 7 night at the Can-Am Speedway Friday night as fans got to meet their favorite drives on the race track for driver autographs, before everyone strapped in to put on a great show. The 50th Golden Jubilee season got back underway Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway, but it started off by honoring a legend in the sport of auto racing, who called the speedway home for so many years. Legend Barefoot Bob McCreadie passed away Wednesday and Can-Am paid tribute to the man who won 30 of his 507 career Modified feature wins at the speedway, including the final win of his career, August 13th of 2006. It was a perfect night for racing this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway as Mother Nature gave the speedway perfect weather and perfect track conditions for all five divisions.
