Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County and a full crowd were on hand as the Golden Jubilee Season continued this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway. May 25, 1998 was the last time the popular Summer Starter had been run and during the Golden Jubilee Season at the Can-Am Speedway, staff and management decided to bring it back. The 50th Golden Jubilee season got back underway Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway, but it started off by honoring a legend in the sport of auto racing, who called the speedway home for so many years.
