Valley Speedway wrapped up the 2016 race season with a great banquet. Drivers, pit crews, fans, and staff had a great time. The top ten in each class received their award. There was lots of food and great deals on the silent auction items. Thanks to everyone for coming and Valley Speedway is looking forward to a great season in 2017.

Now that we have had a week to get over our Chili Bowl sickness we are getting geared up for a great race season ahead. Still working on some big news sponsor wise but not going to let the cat out of the bag! S&S Electric And MC Electric are of course back on board as our family,as well as Driftwood Contracting, Bobby Vestal Horseshoeing and Training, and K&L Logistics. Valley Speedway celebrates class teams and drivers accomplishments for 2016 season. Banquet will be at American Legion Hall in Blue Springs February 4th. Watch for menu selection and auction items. Indianapolis, IN (December 26, 2016) - The POWRi/WAR Sprint Cars have partnered with Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM and Aztec Speedway in Aztec, NM to sanction the Lucas Oil POWRi 305 sprints series in 2017. October 30, 2016 Smith Cotton high school DECA hosted its Trunk-or-Treat day for all Sedalia area children. TMR was invited to come and join in the festivities. Well the weekend didnt go quite as planned but we did run some fast laps. Started on the pole of the third heat and ran off with it but had some brake issues that would hinder us later in the evening. Ended up sixth in passing points and after the redraw started third row outside for feature. Started the feature and after scuffing brake pads after our issues in the heat we still had issues.
