Bloomington, Indiana.……Defending Honda National Midget champion Christopher Bell experienced one of the toughest nights of his career on Thursday, as he flipped during his heat race at Lincoln Park Speedway and was done for the night, feeling the effects of a wicked tumble. Five races comprise the 2013 “Indiana Midget Week” which opens Wednesday night and spans five different Indiana dirt tracks. It’s the ninth annual Honda USAC National Midget extravaganza. Honda USAC National Midget Series participants are gearing up for the upcoming five-race “Indiana Midget Week” scheduled at five different Hoosier dirt ovals June 12-16. Last Friday night’s “Hut Hundred” at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill., co-sanctioned by Powri, fell victim to the elements as heavy rain and storms battered the St. Louis area.
