Kyle Steffens made a surprise start at Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon aboard his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 Winged Kart for the Indoor Racing Series event. Starting the 20-lap feature in third via a third-place finish in his heat, Steffens made a late-race pass for the lead on lap 18 en route to his first win of the 2024 season.
