Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County and a full crowd were on hand as the Golden Jubilee Season continued this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway. The 50th Golden Jubilee season got back underway Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway, but it started off by honoring a legend in the sport of auto racing, who called the speedway home for so many years. Legend Barefoot Bob McCreadie passed away Wednesday and Can-Am paid tribute to the man who won 30 of his 507 career Modified feature wins at the speedway, including the final win of his career, August 13th of 2006. It was a perfect night for racing this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway as Mother Nature gave the speedway perfect weather and perfect track conditions for all five divisions.
