Friday, June 3rd, the Scott Thiel Motorsports team came to the Manitowoc County Expo Speedway with a strong determination to capitalize on what happened the previous week and lead all 30 laps. Mother Nature only allowed the STM crew to race at the Manitowoc County Speedway this past weekend. Scotty drew a high number and started 9th in the heat race. A fast and tacky race track made it difficult to pass, but Thiel still managed to finish 6th and secured a 16th starting position in the night's 30-lap A-Main event. Mother Nature and Friday the 13th played games all day and night at the Manitowoc County Speedway. Rain was in the area all night long and fell a few times which postponed several races. After preparing the car all week long, the STM crew heading to the Manitowoc Speedway on Friday July 30th. This was their first night for the upcoming 7 day speedweek. Scotty drew a 15 pill which set him to start inside second row for the heat race. Coming off a great previous week of racing, the STM team was prepared to charge again at the Manitowoc County Expo Speedway this past Friday night. The Scott Thiel Motorsports crew headed off to the Manitowoc County Speedway last Friday night hoping luck would actually turn around for them, as it has been rough the past few weekends of racing. After a long week off of racing due to weather, STM finally got the change to race. Friday night was the season opener for the Manitowoc County Expo Speedway.
