USAC’s Midwest Thunder Midget Championship opener at Montpelier (Ind.) Speedway fell to the elements last weekend, so the series now aims to debut at Montpelier on April 16. Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway hosts USAC’s inaugural “Midwest Thunder Midget” race Saturday and 2015 USAC Midwest HPD Midget Champion Alex Watson hopes to get a head start on a second USAC title.
