The AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series has an ambitious schedule for 2021. The series which runs under IRA sanction is based on a two engine option, which is primarily a GM604, though a build your own option is available. Wilmot Raceway will be the primary home of the series which will additionally compete in at 7 other venues. ?To clarify, regarding the GM604, the GM #19318604 or #88958604 are the two GM part numbers. The engine can NOT be modified or altered in any way. All parts must be OEM to the engine without any grinding, milling, polishing, or altering of any kind. All parts used on thge 604 must be OEM. IRA's AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series once again proved itself to provide the highest member supported car count per event of any sprint series in the country. Over 70 series specific teams participated, with average car counts in the mid to high 30's as twin B-mains were needed on multiple nights. The AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints presented by Brewington Electric will compete this Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway as part of the “Wildman Watson” memorial event. 21 DAYS…. This is not the post anyone of us is wanting to put out, but in the end it’s the right decision for all involved. The 3rd annual Jim “Wildman” Watson Classic is being postponed until Saturday, October 3rd due to the 6 straight days of rain, and more forecasted throughout the night and tomorrow morning. Derek Crane of Waukegan, IL won his second Autometer/Brewington Electric Wisconsin Wingless Sprints feature of the season taking top honors in the 3rd Annual Bill Grogan Tribute.
