With only 2 races left in the season 30 600's, 9 Restrictor's and 4 Jr Sprint's showed up for there last few chances to get a chance to race. The Jr Sprint's were out first. The Lonestar 600's would roll south to Gulf Coast Speedway and boy would it be a hectic night. There would be 20 Non Wing 600's, 4 Restrictor's, 2 Jr. Sprint's. Several drivers would find themselves having trouble in there heats. Notables would be Blake Moeller flipping due to contact from another car. Luke Lucas doing the same in his heat race. The night was sure u[ in the air if we were going to be able to even get a lap in as storms were all around us. After a long 3 week break the drivers were ready to get back in action at Gator Motorplex. After hotlaps and heats shook out the drivers for ready for the A feature. The Restrictor's were up first. The Lonestar 600's travel south to Gulf Coast Speedway in Alvin, Tx. to join them on the tracks opening night. We had 20 non wings, 3 Restrictor's, 3 Jr. Sprint's signed in and ready to race. 38 Mini Sprint's, 7 Restrictor's, and 4 Jr. Sprint's pulled through the gats for the 5th Annual Nolan Wren Memorial at Gator Motorplex. The pit were packed with a tone of 360's and 305's as well. Heat races would be ran with the top 16 locking themselves into the A-Main. That put the other 22 cars split between 2 B-Mains in the 600's.
