Jon Stanbrough of Danville, Ind. leads the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car series to a pair of Wisconsin appearances this weekend. Stanbrough leads defending series champion Levi Jones by just 10 points entering Saturday’s race at Wilmot Raceway and Sunday night’s race at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie. Jon Stanbrough will lead the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car series to June 23 and 24 Wisconsin races at Wilmot and Sun Prairie after emerging from the recent Eastern Storm swing with a 10-point lead over defending series champ Levi Jones. The Scott Thiel Motorsports team showed up at the Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, WI Saturday September 25th. Scotty drew a 40 pill which set him to start inside the third row of the heat race event. At the green, Thiel quickly moved up to the 4th place final transfer spot and held that ground all race long. That finish would set Scotty to start the A-Main event in the 14th position.
