Five new Iron Cup champions were crowned on Park Jefferson's biggest night of racing as the J&J Fitting sponsored Iron Cup came to a close on Tuesday night. Jacob Hobscheidt led the entire 35 lap IMCA Modified feature but had to hold off a hard running Shane Demey on the closing laps to pick up the win by only eight tenths of a second. Preliminary night of the 8th annual J&J Fitting Iron Cup came to Park Jefferson Speedway for the IMCA divisions here is Sioux City. As a reminder this weeks Monster Truck Racing League event has been removed at the request of the Monster Truck Racing League. Track officials were notified that the series would not be able to promote the event at the track due to various circumstances and will not be made up. Plans are in place for the return of Monster Trucks in June of 2022.
