The Golden Jubilee Season continued on this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway. All 5 divisions saw exciting finishes and some drivers continued their early season dominance, while others finally broke through for their first wins of the new year. May 25, 1998 was the last time the popular Summer Starter had been run and during the Golden Jubilee Season at the Can-Am Speedway, staff and management decided to bring it back. The race and finish did not disappoint. The night began with the return of the DIRT Modified Nostalgia Tour as they made their first appearance at Can-Am since 2019. The 20 lap affair saw Kingston Ontario’s Aaron Pugh take the lead at the drop of the green, over Rich Townsend, Ian Gordon, Jipp...more

So what have our drivers been doing with a week off. Well most notably Tim Fuller our reigning Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTCar 358 Modified track champion, took a trip to Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh for the Leon Gonyo Memorial. The trip from Watertown paid off as he took the $4,444 victory, ahead of veteran Mario...more

It was a perfect night for racing this past Friday night at the Can-Am Speedway as Mother Nature gave the speedway perfect weather and perfect track conditions for all five divisions. It was also Five Dollar Night, which also saw a packed grandstand. The night kicked off with the Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman and Brady Howard led early in the 12 lap feature go. Howard had a fast car but Logan Brown was on the charge and looking to remain perfect in his Limited...more

The Nasty Track of the North season opener was exciting last week as the Golden Jubilee season saw a couple of surprise winners, but the night also belonged to drivers who had been there before. The Whitesboro Plowshop DIRTCar 358 Modified division saw Billy Dunn start up front and lead every lap on his way to career win number 63 in the Modified ranks at Can-Am. The race got close in traffic as young Jackson Gill closed the gap but Dunn held on for the opening day...more

The green flag flew on opening day for the 50th Golden Jubilee season at the Can-Am Speedway this past Friday night with a full pit area and a great crowd on hand to see some of the top stars in the Northeast. But it was the drivers who had been there before that stayed in the spotlight on this night. The DIRTCar Sportsman Series headlined the night as the North Regional Series was in town.
