The 3rd annual Buffalo Wild Wings King of the Wings featuring the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints and the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA) has added a Thursday night, July 18th event at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN to the schedule. The historic 3/8 fairgrounds track is also on the World of Outlaws Late Model schedule. The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints are making their longest trek in many a year this weekend July 15-16, as the series heads northwest to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, ND) for a pair of co-sanctioned races Friday and Saturday with NOSA. The IRA has only traveled that far once before, back in 2003, when 9-time IRA Champion Joe Roe won IRA's only other appearance at River Cities. In the final feature of the weekend, pole sitter Blake Egeland led early in the NOSA Sprint Car feature. Bob Martin, who started fifth, quickly passed Egeland on lap three. Brendan Mullen passed Egeland before an early caution regrouped the field. On the restart, Wade Nygaard passed Mullen and was catching Martin for the lead before spinning on his own with seven laps to go. Martin and Mullen raced hard for the win on the restart. The NOSA Sprint Cars made their return to Dacotah Speedway. Jordan Adams started on the pole but was quickly passed by Zach Omdahl when the green flag waved. Omdahl jumped to the early lead but once he started catching lapped traffic, second place Bob Martin started to reel him in.
