CALLIHOO RACING·WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2019 It was a wild and crazy Gold Cup Aug 16, 17 weekend For Wayne Callihoo and Callihoo Racing team. Callihoo Racing 2018 Race Schedule Thurday, April 5, 2018 Our 2018 Race Season is coming in May with first race on May 26th at Castrol Raceway and season ending at Central Alberta Raceways On Sept 16th. June 16,17 2017 at Central Alberta Raceways, Rimbey, Alberta This past weekend I attended Central Alberta Raceways, Rimbey, Alberta June 16 to help the 36 Sportsman Sprint team of Chevy Goodhope. I did not race this event due to time restraints of a Friday race and no pit crew so decided to help another team. The track was not in very good race shape on the hot laps. Extreme Cup July 22, 2016 - Castrol Raceway We started the night pulling a 8 place pill for qualifying which was great out of 25 cars. Wayne went out to qualify and on the first lap the left side wing panel tore off and a yellow flag was shown due to the car before us did not pull off and went an extra lap so we did not get a full lap in. Castrol Raceway July 9 We finally was able to get back on the track for 2016 after a summer full of rain outs. On July 9, 2016 we raced at Castrol Raceway. Not really been able to have much laps on our new car with the rain out we did not know how our car would be. In hot laps the car was great. Well our first night out for 2016 with the new Triple X Chassis, new CCR Motorsport engine is rained out at Castrol Raceway May 28. Our Test and Tune went fine on May 14th so we are ready to go for when Mother Nature lets us go racing. At least Alberta got the rain we needed for the forest fires. Callihoo Racing Race Report -Sept 12, 2015 championship night Castrol Raceway. After a mad dash to get a motor in our car from the lost engine on Sept 5 Old timer race we were able to make it out.
