After Tuesday’s rainout at Grandview Speedway, Gunnar Setser joined the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship field on Wednesday night at Bridgeport Motorsports Park, as the New Jersey oval hosted the opening round of the USAC Eastern Storm. Following a weekend on pavement, Kyle Steffens and the USAC Silver Crown National Championship returned to dirt this past weekend as the iconic Port Royal Speedway played host to the USAC Eastern Blast. After locking into the feature with a strong qualifying effort, Steffens went on to register a 12th-place finish in the 50-lap main event. Kyle Cummins, Briggs Danner, and Justin Grant, in that order made up those three drivers, and all three would find themselves on the podium at the end of the night.
