2011

MCR Racing

[c 1] Feature Win
4 Top 5 Finishes
13 Top 10 finishes

Matt's 1st year in the 270 class was stressful to say the least. The team had 12 motor failures during the year along with numerous rain-outs. The team did seem to get things turned around the last month of the season which has us excited for the 2012 season. The last month of the season Matt had a 2nd, 1st, 3rd and 10th place finishes. The 10th place was at the Middleford Nationals in Seaford, DE which saw Matt start 26th and had a good run to 10th against stiff competition. The team will be back at Trailways Speedway again in 2012 but with Todd Hoover running a 600 Micro as a teammate to Matt at MCR Racing.

2010

MCR Racing

5 Feature Wins
19 Top 5 finishes
23 Top 10 finishes
The team came up a little short on our season goals but still had a good season. Matt picked up 5 wins during the season and came home in 2nd place in the points championship, 120 points back. The team had 4 DNF's (3 engine problems & 1 electrical ) that we just could not overcome. Matt has closed out his 125 micro career with 12 wins during his 2 seasons in the 125's. In 2011 Matt will start his run in the 270 micro class and make Trailway Speedway in Hanover,PA our home track on Saturday nights.

2009

MCR Racing

7 Feature wins
17 top 5 finishes
18 top 10 finishes

Highlites : Once again the team bounced back after a disappointing previous year. Matt moved up to the very competitive 125 micro's and made Selinsgrove Raceway Park our home track. Matt got the season started fast with a 3rd place finish.During the season Matt put together a 5 race win streak and was in contention for the win every week we went to the track. The team went to Greenwood Valley Action Track and brought the car home in 7th place and later in the season hit a mid-week race at Kutztown Speedway where Matt brought the car home in 4th after starting last which earned him the "Hard Charger" award for that race. The team would finish up at our home track where Matt clinched the season long Points Championship for 2009, his 1st Championship in a Micro. We had a fanatastic year and made alot of new friends we hope to race with for many years. See everyone in 2010 !!

2008

MCR Racing

[c 0] feature wins

[c 10] top 5 finishes

[c 15] top 10 finishes

[c Highlights:] Unfortunatly there were no highlites to the 2008 season. We'll look back on 2008 as a big learning experience for the team and never enter a "spec Engine" series again. We shut down our season and left the series in July.

2007

MCR Racing

[c 14] Feature wins

[c 19] Top 5 Finishes

[c 3] Top 10 Finishes

[c Highlights:] The MCR Team & Matt put the pieces "back" together in 2007 after an off year in '06 picking up 14 wins & 19 top 5 finishes. The team got their tire program in order and the results showed. Matt would end his karting career on a high note as he heads into his Jr. Sprint car in 2008. Matt won at 3 of 4 tracks raced at including Trailways speedway's Fall Spectacular for the 3rd time. We will miss the friends we have made over the years in karting and wish them all well. It's time for a new challenge for Matt as he continues his journey to the 410 sprint car ranks.

2006

MCR Racing

[c 4] Feature wins

[c 24] Top 5 Finishes

[c 24] Top 10 Finishes

[c Highlights:] The 2006 season didn't exactly go as MCR Racing would have hoped for with only 4 wins for the year. We hold ourselves to higher expectations and strive for higher goals. That being said it was a huge learning experience as Matt entered his 1st full season of champ kart racing. Unfortunately Matt had to learn patience while dad's setup and tire selection experience progressed. We feel that the 2007 season will be more successful based on the experience gained this season.

2005

MCR Racing

[c 16] Feature wins

[c 7] Top 5 Finishes

[c 23] Top 10 Finishes

[c Highlights:] Matt competed in the first big race of the season, the special Memorial Day money race at Selinsgrove Raceway Park . Things went well and Matt won the race.

During the period of June 18th to July 16th, Matt put together a "7" race win streak! Best of his young racing career.

September 17th,MCR Racing headed to Oakland Valley Raceway Park in Orange County, New York. Matt won both qualifers and feature race, also setting a new 1 lap record of 17.01 !

2004

MCR Racing

[c 16] Feature Wins
[c 12] Top 5 Finishes
[c 28] Top 10 Finishes
[c Highlights:] Matt raced at 5 different tracks during the 2004 season, winning at 4 of those tracks. Matt finished no lower than 3rd in 28 of the 33 races he competed in. The other 5 races were DNF's (did not finish) due to mechanical failure. The highlight win was the big 4th of July weekend race at Selinsgrove Raceway Park. The focus of 2004 was to move Matt around to different tracks to continue on with his gaining experience on different track sizes and configurations. Matt's progress as a driver was terrific.
