It was a tradition since 1980, when a big race was thought of to attract some of the best in small block modified racing across the Northeast. The Nasty Track of the North season opener was exciting last week as the Golden Jubilee season saw a couple of surprise winners, but the night also belonged to drivers who had been there before. The Whitesboro Plowshop DIRTCar 358 Modified division saw Billy Dunn start up front and lead every lap on his way to career win number 63 in the Modified ranks at Can-Am. The green flag flew on opening day for the 50th Golden Jubilee season at the Can-Am Speedway this past Friday night with a full pit area and a great crowd on hand to see some of the top stars in the Northeast.
