Adverse weather throughout the month of April with continued rain and snowfall have forced the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series (UMSS) to push back the season opening weekend for all divisions to May 3-4. Ty started the 2013 season at Port City Raceway in the Outlaw Class and has had a pretty good start so far. He won the B Feature last weekend and started the back of the A Feature and had a solid 5th place finish. As of last weekend Ty is currently 4th in the Outlaw Class points. This past weekend were the Non-Wing Nationals at Port City Raceway.
